Homemade Reuben

Lay a bag or can of sauerkraut on the bottom of the crockpot, then put corned beef brisket right on top. Cook on low for 10 hours. Assemble rye bread, swiss cheese, thousand island, cooked sauerkraut and corned beef and yum yum yum, you will have an AMAZING homemade Reuben. Yay!!!

Spicy BBQ shrimp! Yum!!

I love pinterest! And I pretty much get all my recipes from there now. Every week (well really everyday if I was super domestic) I have new recipes to make and bake. I made this delicious spicy BBQ shrimp from a Chicago woman's blog. It is delish! A must try! Super easy to make (I'd say about 15 min prep time- but be careful you have to let the shrimp marinate for 4hours +) and very easy cleanup as well. Kevin and I took the blogger's advice and soaked up the sauce with French bread. If you're not a fan of spicy dishes, don't add the hot sauce because it was a tad spicy. Yum yum yum. Here's the link to the recipe! She has a way prettier picture of the dish.

Cheesy bread success!

I have tried before making pizza using store bought dough but have never liked any. I saw this recipe on pinterest and decided to try making my own. It is delicious. A must try and super easy. Plus it makes 2 pizzas worth (and could feed 3-4 people). Can't wait to try some other ingredients on the 2nd half of the dough I have leftover in the fridge. Below is a picture of my cheesy bread. I used the blog's recipe, but added fresh garlic slices (god I love garlic!!). So yummy!
